Drosera filiformis var. tracyi (Southern Threadleaf Sundew) (Seed Grown)

$13.99

Drosera filiformis tracyi*, also known as the Southern Thread-leaved Sundew, ranks among the largest North American sundews. *D. filiformis tracyi* is a bit larger than *D. filiformis filiformis* (with the Florida Giant Form slightly bigger still). Its long leaves can grow up to 18 inches, appearing predominantly green to yellow-green with clear to slightly orange digestive glands. These leaves are covered in numerous sticky tentacles that sparkle in sunlight.

Its many large flowers are white and appear on tall scapes. Flowering occurs from May to June, often producing abundant seeds. Seeds can be planted immediately or kept for several years. *Drosera filiformis tracyi* makes a striking addition to any collection or bog garden. For maximum impact, use multiple plants in a 6" pot.

Plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss. Photographs represent the species, not the exact plant shipped. Includes 2.75 inch pot and enough media (peat and Perlite mix) to fill the pot
